Quran Radio Algerie (also known as Radio Coran or Algeria Quran Radio), locally known as Idha’at al-Qur’an al-Karim, is a prominent Islamic radio station in Algeria dedicated to broadcasting the recitation of the Holy Quran and religious programming. The station primarily broadcasts in Arabic; it serves a diverse linguistic audience and is a key pillar of religious media in the region. It is part of the national public broadcasting system, Radio Algeria, and plays an important role in the country’s spiritual and cultural life. The station’s programming mainly consisted of Quranic recitations sourced from archives, along with recordings provided by local and international reciters. Since February 18, 2021, the station has operated 24 hours a day. In addition to recitations, Quran Radio Algerie broadcasts sermons, lectures, and educational programs designed to inspire and inform listeners.
