Radio Paidha (branded as 87.8 Paidha FM) is a community‑focused radio station based in Paidha town, Zombo District, Uganda, that is known for its community-centric approach, broadcasting in a mix of languages including Alur (the primary language of the region), English, French, and Luganda. It was established in 1997 and is operated by Radio Paidha Ltd. This radio station offers a mix of news, music, talk shows, and community programming tailored to diverse local audiences, covering social, political, educational, and cultural topics. Radio Paidha plays popular music and shares information that reflects the interests and needs of its listeners. Its slogan is “Our Own Voice.” The station has become an important voice in northern Uganda’s media landscape, serving as both an entertainment and information source for its community.
