Berliner Rundfunk is a special part of German radio history. It began on January 1, 1992, as the first private radio station in East Germany, continuing the legacy of the old DDR station with the same name. Today, it broadcasts from the modern Berlin Media Center, mixing nostalgia with fresh energy to connect the city’s past and present.
