CBS 88.8 FM (also known as CBS Radio Ey’Obujjajja) is a major radio station broadcasting from Kampala, Uganda, that is deeply rooted in the culture and heritage of the Buganda people. The station launched on 22 June 1996 and is owned by the Buganda Kingdom, serving as a cultural and community voice for the Baganda people and a wider Ugandan audience. It offers a mix of news, traditional music, sports, and socio-political talk shows. CBS 88.8 FM aims to inform, educate, and entertain listeners across Central Uganda and beyond. It organizes the famous Enkuuka Y’Omwaka, a massive end-of-year concert attended by the Kabaka (King) of Buganda.
