Desi Radio is a United Kingdom (UK)-based online radio station that features an exciting mix of contemporary and classic Bollywood hits, as well as other popular genres such as Bhangra, hip-hop, and R&B. It is run by volunteers as a project of The Panjabi Centre, a registered charity promoting Panjabi culture, language, and heritage. Desi Radio is a community station staffed by volunteers, many of whom have been trained during the various media courses provided by the Panjabi Centre. It broadcasts a mix of Bhangra, Panjabi pop, traditional, spiritual, and classical music, along with community news, discussions, poetry, and cultural programming. The station delivers a crystal-clear listening experience that is sure to keep listeners engaged for hours on end.
