About HJCK

HJCK is one of the most important cultural radio stations in Colombia, originally founded in Bogotá, that is widely celebrated as the country’s pioneer in private cultural radio. It is dedicated to providing listeners with up-to-date news and analysis on local, national, and international events. The station’s 89.9 FM frequency was leased to Caracol Radio in 2006 and, in 2015, was acquired by Caracol Televisión for its Blu Radio station. HJCK broadcasts exclusively in MP3 format, and its programming lineup features a diverse range of shows and segments, including morning news updates, interviews with experts and policymakers, live coverage of breaking events, and in-depth analysis of key issues affecting Colombia and beyond. For decades, the station built an unmatched audio heritage by focusing on classical music, literature, jazz, and deep intellectual programming.
