Magnetic FM (call sign XHAWD-FM) is a Mexican cultural and educational radio station based in the city of San Luis Potosí, Mexico, that is known for its “intellectual” and cultural approach to broadcasting. It broadcasts on 101.3 MHz FM and is owned & operated by the Fundación Nikola Tesla A.C., an organization connected to the Mexican technology company Grupo AWD. The station is unique for its focus on science, technology, and culture, standing out from the more common commercial music formats in the region. The mission of Magnética FM is to promote creativity, productivity, and knowledge among listeners. Through discussions, educational segments, and music, the station aims to encourage reflection and learning while accompanying listeners during work or study. This radio station officially began broadcasting on March 12, 2005, and provides programming 24 hours a day.
